A French version of this README file is available as ALIRE.

This CDK directory contains a first set of files to be used as the
GUTenberg publications archives, e.g. for the TEXART CDROM.

3 kinds of files are available here (beside README and ALIRE)

- lettre i .ps    The 5 PostScript files corresponding to Lettre GUTenberg
                  from issue 0 to issue 5. These files contains private fonts
                  such as Adobe Garamond or Y&Y Lucida-Bright

- toc n .tex      These files contain the table of contents of issue number n
                  of Cahiers GUTenberg. These tables include not only the
                  page numbers, but the name of the corresponding PostScript
                  file n-xxx.ps: this should help in making HTML or Acrobat
                  version of this archive.

- n-xxx.ps        The PostScript file of paper named xxx of Cahier GUT issue
                  number n.

Today (July 16th, 1995) n > 13.
