Utilities for Translating Dvi Pictures

Pictures may be internally created for the hypertext documents, and when such is the case they need to be translated from dvi code to appropriate format. I am currently aware of the following utilities for carrying the translation.

PC-DOS

Emtex's output driver dvidot coupled with display and giftrans (see the dos port of Gertjan Klein).

Unix

Dvips coupled with convert for translating dvi to gif (and other formats).

PC-DOS and Unix

Dvips coupled with Ghostscript (see the dos port of Gertjan Klein).
