The time to create a hypertext document depends mainly on the time it takes to translate its figures into gif.
The number of figures can be reduced by employing browser-based fonts (e.g., `<FONT FACE="SYMBOL">') of TeX4ht
for creating special symbols, instead of pictorial-based fonts of TeX4ht.
For DOS-like file names use `htm' instead of `html', within the \Preamble commands and the extensions of the
file names.
